Budmat PV Systems presents a wide range of top-quality support structures for PV modules, which it supplies on a daily basis for photovoltaic power plants built throughout Europe. The variety of structure models on offer makes it possible to realise investments in any terrain, and being made of the best steel from ArcelorMittal’s steel mill in Magnelis® coating is a guarantee of many years of use.
Budmat PV Systems has many years of experience in the implementation of large PV projects in Europe in cooperation with the largest manufacturers and suppliers in the RES industry and offers investors the possibility of efficient, timely and bankable project implementation. The turn-key delivery of structures by BUDMAT PV Systems is carried out through: technical consultancy, design of the structure and execution of the project documentation, production of the structure components, delivery to the construction site and training of the execution teams and technical acceptance after the structure installation.
The support structures for solar systems offered by Budmat PV Systems combine strength and reliability with the use of high quality steel with Magnelis® coating, which shows more than three times higher corrosion resistance (also when founded on the ground), compared to galvanised steel, self-healing capacity, and increased abrasion resistance. We know that investments in large-scale PV farm projects require a tailor-made approach, hence our designs are created for a specific location taking into account soil conditions, wind zones and using a specific photovoltaic module.
The Group’s facilities and resources allow us to participate as a reliable partner – supplier of support structures – in the realisation of large-scale PV power plant projects in Poland and the EU.
Our factory has an area of 40,000 m2 under roof and is the largest PV structure manufacturing facility of its kind in Poland and one of the largest in Europe. We purchase steel coils directly from the manufacturer, at Arcelor-Mittal’s European steel mills.
We act as a one-stop shop, offering technical advice right from the quotation stage, training for the teams assembling the structures and optional post-assembly technical acceptance. We are able to supply top-quality steel structures with Magnelis® coating rapidly and in large quantities, even for the largest projects.
In addition to this, we have a second production line of ground structures, so-called universal, standard structures tailored for a certain range of PV modules. These are available from our warehouse ‘off-the-shelf’ and the customer receives all the components needed to assemble the structure, i.e. profiles, fasteners, adhesives, installation instructions and warranty card, in a single package.
Industrial farms from 1 MWp and above are tailor-made projects, realised according to individual orders. We begin by analysing the assumptions presented in the design request and discussions with the client, prepare a solution concept, carry out static calculations, including wind tunnel, and, following client approval, design the structure. Once the contract is signed, we begin implementation by preparing the necessary execution and production documentation (also necessary for the construction project). We agree an implementation schedule with the client, start production and then delivery.
Budmat complies with ESG requirements; we are audited very often by our contractors, and the fact that we source steel directly from ArcelorMittal’s steel mills (rather than from standard distribution centres) builds our competitive advantage. We are shortening supply chains and the current production capacity of the Plock plant is 3 GW per year, which shows the scale and potential of our capabilities.
Budmat PV Systems’ foreign investments are growing by leaps and bounds, both in Scandinavia, the Baltic States, Germany, Bulgaria and finally also in Romania and the Balkans. Budmat is ready to design, manufacture and deliver structures for any location and for any volume of power.
